GRADUATION FOR THE CLASS OF 2016

Graduation begins promptly at 6PM. The Graduation Ceremony is a sacred academic event that recognizes the achievements of our graduates. Guests are reminded of the solemnity of the occasion and need to conduct themselves appropriately. Students and their guests are asked to observe the following guidelines.

  • This is a formal event and guests are expected to dress appropriately. Shirts, ties, jackets and dresses are encouraged and all attire needs to be appropriate for the celebration of graduation.
  • All cell phones and electronic devices must be turned off for the duration of the ceremony.
  • Any object or activity that would detract from the formality of the event is prohibited.
  • Students and guests should remain in their seats until the faculty have processed out of the amphitheater.
  • Applause should be held until all students have received their diplomas. Names will be read and it is important that every name is heard.

Any guest not conducting themselves accordingly will be invited to leave regardless of their relationship to a graduate.  These reminders are meant to ensure that our graduates and guests have the most enjoyable day possible.
